Pill Hub is a mobile health application I developed for CST338: Software Design to help users manage medications safely and efficiently. I focused on creating an intuitive interface for tracking schedules and preventing dangerous drug-to-drug interactions. The application includes several key safety and management features:
- Medication Scheduling: Designed a flexible system for users to input and track complex medication routines.
- Interaction Checking: Integrated a robust validation system to cross-reference medications and flag potential health risks.
- Visual Pill Identification: Implemented a visual library to help users verify their medications at a glance.
- Health Log: Developed a centralized hub for users to monitor their adherence and overall medication history.
The project emphasizes a user-centric design approach, bridging technical software architecture with practical health safety requirements. Technical complexity must always be balanced with user-centric design to create truly effective health management tools.
